Small adjustments to my usual techniques can create significant changes to the resulting prints. Here, the plate is made and inked up using a method I rarely use, and although I have used two plates, they were passed through the press at the same time, creating a deeply embossed image. The method of placing one plate on another before pulling the print gives a beautiful penumbra around the second plate. This little collagraph is only 10cm x 10cm, so a lot is packed into a small space. Can be supplied with a simple mount, or mounted and framed.
